MAINTENANCE ON UK SERVERS

The first step will be the addition of a number of new servers to our UK network. Whilst these are being installed, a small number of physical changes will be being made to the existing hardware which will result in very brief periods of connectivity loss. We estimate that the downtime per server will be no more than 5 minutes over the course of the 3 days. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as we make these changes to improve the service.
For customers using our VPS services, there will be some more substantial hardware upgrades being performed to improve your service, which will result in downtime of up to 20 minutes during the 3 day period.
Once complete, these hardware upgrades will increase our capacity for the existing shared/reseller hosting and also allow us to provide forthcoming new services. Customers in the US are not affected, except for the primary DNS server, which is hosted in the UK.
